Do you have guts to strap on a rocket powered helicopter?

The people at Tecnologia Aeroespacial Mexicana are somewhat over the top. First they introduce the Rocket belt Jetpack that has actually made it into production. And now, they are showing off a rocket powered helicopter.

The contraption uses small rocket motors at the end of each rotar blade and the Libelula eliminates torque that makes the tail rotor necessary in conventional ‘copters. This idea in theory, makes this system more reliable, which is a huge plus considering the idea would have you hanging from a backpack hundreds of feed above the ground.
