MySpace announces beta launch of MySpace Karaoke. Now bad singers have a place to congregate.

MySpace has announced today that it will be beta launching its MySpace Karaoke service, powered by kSolo. MySpace Karaoke will allow users to sing along, record and share up to ten licensed tracks with the MySpace community. All a person needs is a microphone and they’re ready to record.

According to the MySpace’s official press release from, users will be allowed to “sing, record, listen to and save up to ten songs on their personal MySpace Karaoke profile for free, with the most recent recordings automatically appearing on their MySpace profiles. They can then share recordings via bulletins with their friends on MySpace, embed them to their profiles, or bookmark their favorite recordings in their library. Members can listen to and rate their friends’ karaoke recordings, make comments and even become fans of a singer.”

The service will launched on April 29, 2008 in the United States and there will be a rolling international release. Click here to go to Karaoke.
