With the death of companies such as Polaroid, it’s quite obvious that film photography is (sadly) dying. It’s really a shame because it is a truly great medium. Personally, as an avid photographer, I am more amazed at what people can do tweaking their creations in a dark room more than what somebody that can do in Photoshop (well, most of the time…). Film is great and should not be forgotten. One reason why it should not be forgotten is you have to be patient and selective, always looking for the best shots.
We’ve compiled a list of 10 great film photographs that we’ve discovered on Flickr to encourage you to put down your digital camera and pick up a film one.
