Last night, Elton John performed a fundraising concert for Hillary Clinton that raised around $2.5 million. Unfortunately for Hillary, the concert could have been against the law.

The Federal Campaign Act states:
“Any foreign national from contributing, donating or spending funds in connection with any federal, state, or local election in the United States, either directly or indirectly. It is also unlawful to help foreign nationals violate that ban or to solicit, receive or accept contributions or donations from them. Persons who knowingly and willfully engage in these activities may be subject to fines and/or imprisonment.”
Could Hillary and Elton possibly get in trouble for this? If the mainstream news picks up on this I think that the pair could be under some scrutiny.
She is running for President of the United States. You think it would be more politically savvy to have an American perform. Like how Obama had a concert featuring Dave Matthew’s Bands…

John McCain’s campaign has been accused of signing up for public financing, then getting a lone based on the future receipt of that public financing, and then trying to opt out of the public financing system.
Although some people have argued that this violates the public financing laws, McCain seems confident that, because the Federal Election Commission lacks enough members for a quorum and cannot vote on anything at present, so therefore it will be a long time before this issue can get heard. Certainly, the reasoning goes, it won’t get resolved before the November election.
Suppose the FEC decides against him in December? By then it won’t matter because the penalty will be a few million dollars and if he has been elected president then any number of people will be willing to donate toward paying that penalty.
Clinton may be thinking the same thing. Nothing’s going to happen on this until after the nomination is decided and, if she gets the nomination (unlikely), then it will all have been worth it, even if she is fined a few million dollars and has to pay Elton John for his services.
Now, the reason she wanted Elton John for this concert is obvious. He’s gay. She wants the gay vote and she wants contributions from gay people.
Of course, there are some gay singers in the United States, but Clinton may not have thought of that option.
Ever read the words to Elton John’s song, “Jamaica Jerk-Off”? If not, you might want to do so now. They tell you a lot about the color-aroused ideation, emotion and singing behavior of Elton John. No, he didn’t write these lyrics that denigrate all Jamaicans by calling them “jerk-off”. Elton John just sang these lyrics, put them on his album and made money from these lyrics:
When she gets up in the morning
It’s enough to wake the dead
Oh she turning on the radio
And dancing on my head
It’s no good living in the sun
Playing guitar all day
Boogalooing with my friends
In that erotic way
Come on Jamaica
In Jamaica all day
Dancing with your darling
Do Jamaica jerk-off that way
Come on Jamaica
Everybody say
We’re all happy in Jamaica
Do Jamaica Jerk-off that way
Let the ladies and the gentlemen
Be as rude as they like
On the beaches, oh in the jungle
Where the people feel alright
So do it Jamaica
Got plenty for you and me
Honky tonking with my baby
In that deep blue sea
